Gateway Arch National Park

Start a city ride at the Arch and follow the Mississippi.

2/5
Limited riding

A small urban park where bikes may use the grounds' walkways, with the city's riverfront trail alongside.

Riding here

Gateway Arch is a 91-acre urban park, so it's a starting point rather than a riding destination. Bikes may use the walkways on the Arch grounds as long as they don't get in the way of people on foot, and St. Louis's riverfront trail runs north along the Mississippi from downtown.

Where you can ride

Bikes may ride on the Arch grounds' pedestrian walkways, provided they don't interfere with pedestrians or others' enjoyment of the park.

Where you can't

Ride considerately: pedestrians come first on the walkways.
